One Year Later
Hi everyone!! It's been a year since I launched PROXIMATE's vertical slice and Itch page. A lot has changed since then, both in the project and my personal life. I've lost friends of many years, met new ones that I'll hopefully have for many years more, moved homes, got medicated for ADHD, left a 7 month long situationship that completely changed the way I approach relationships, quit smoking twice, went back to therapy, and completely redesigned my avatar. I think the biggest similarity between me in August 2023 versus August 2024 is that I'm still working on PROXIMATE.
The game is, at this point, almost completely done. It's playable from intro cutscene to credit sequence, with the latest build currently available to my Patreon supporters. I recently published a trailer, and the game's Steam page is also now live - I'm not going to do a wishlist hustle this time around, because I honestly just don't think it's that worth it, but if you do feel like chucking me a wishlist I'd definitely be grateful!
